Steak 'n Shake

Was driving by thinking of what to eat when I saw they had a drive through (didn’t know till now). Saw the Buttery Garlic Double Burger on the menu and decided on that combo. If you don’t mind a good old fashion greasy burger than you won’t be disappointed. It’s definitely buttery & Garlicky which I loved. It’s 2 patties so it should fill you up but I was definitely tempted to get another one(Did not for fear my wife would kill me). The fries are shoe string thin and we’re just OK, a little seasoning would do the trick. Now that I know they have a drive thru this place will be my down fall...lol

This was my first time at this restaurant! I was feeling really hungry, but also feeling a pinch in the wallet, and my wife says, "It's less expensive than "Bur** K***!", so we stopped. We didn't have coupons, but I saw the meals cost $3.99 and $4.99, so I splurged on the triple hamburger meal. Three decent sized (not quarter pound) patties with fresh toppings (I opted out of lettuce and tomatoes). They have a crunchy shoe string fries, which I liked, and a small chocolate shake, which sweetened it all very nicely! At the end, I noticed the price tag was considerably less expensive than "the other guys" for a really premium meal. And, as the wait staff serves you and buses your table afterwards, you do feel pampered! Really recommend this meal over any fast food places out there, unless its take-out or eat in your car time.

This Steak N Shake location was amazing!!! The staff here (very young staff) was awesome, kind, friendly and very polite and professional. I enjoyed every moment in this Steak N Shake. Thank you to this amazing staff. Now... the food!!! OMG! The staff was amazing and the food was right there on point with the staff. Definitely wish I had an extra day or 2 in this city I would definitely comeback and have another meal. Food so fresh, tasteful and juicy. I would highly recommend for someone to try Steak N Shake if they have never had it before. This is the 2nd location I been to, the other was in Michigan. I wish we would open these on the West coast. Let’s move away from the same stuff (McDonald’s, Burger King) and places like them. Steak N Shake is where it’s at!!!

12 of us waiting for our order. Took 40 minutes for first plate, 45 for the second and third plate, now 52 minutes for the final plates to come. It's not busy. There's only 5 other tables with customers. I don't get it! The floors were stickey and after asking for water the third time we left before it ever came.

The staff at this Steak 'n Shake is terrible. We sat right by the server area and they were talking inappropriately around the customers. Our waitress was even caressing another server in front of everyone. It's a shame, because the food here was actually terrific. If my kids weren't with me it might of been alright but not a family place.
