Ise Of Japan

Located n the large Cloverdale Plaza parking lot off Miller Street behind Starbucks & Cagney's near Dollar Tree. I was helped as soon as I walked n. The restaurant was clean, looked nice & it smelled delicious inside. Looking over the menu showed lots to choose from such as: sushi, salads, soups & much more + some of my favorite hibachi menu items (similar 2 Kimono's or Tokyo Japenese Steakhouse but much cheaper)! My takeout order was ready & brought 2 me fairly quick, the price was reasonable 4 the type & amount of yummy food I received. It tasted amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant 2 others.

The food at Ise is always good. The flavors never disappoint. The reason why I am rating it at 4 stars is because the service it's a bit slow, so expect the wait to be long. You can see them struggling trying to get all the orders out. I have been the only person there dining in and still I had to wait to get my food. It makes me sad to see them this way. Regardless the food is great, and try to be patient with the staff.

I ordered DoorDash from this restaurant and they did not put the shrimp sauce in the bag to be picked up. I then drove to the restaurant my self to get the sauce and showed the worker my order. He proceeds to make me PAY for additional sauce after stating that my order should have come with two. He stated that the lady in the back said she put it in there. I told him it was not in the bag nor the box and he still made me pay for it. That is bad customer service.

The customer service was beyond expected very polite and friendly and accommodation from staff was great to pick from the front and back of 4 pages and the recommendations for select the sauce was fabulous really recommend the local yum Yum sauce and ever item was Cooked fresh to order. And the value of the funds equals the food.

I have ordered from ISE Japan many times over the years. For this particular order the delivery service was great, but the food...not so much. I order two chicken hibachi platters, a clear soup and a spicy tuna roll (sushi). Upon ordering I saw that there are veggie options for the hibachi platters (carrots only, onions only, or onions and zucchini only) and you can add extra of their other veggie options if you would like ($0.50 extra). I ended up paying for extra mushrooms. The catch, you can only add one extra vegetable to the platter. So I chose onion and zucchini with a note to sub carrots for the zucchini. Upon receiving my order, there was no zucchini in my hibachi plates but there were also NO CARROTS, which I had asked for. The chicken was boiled and then sauteed "hibachi style", but it still looked like BOILED CHICKEN! (I really was not expecting for that to be a part of the cooking process or my order) So along with my boiled chicken hibachi I had over-cooked mushrooms in both "boiled hibachi chicken" plates. In one of the hibachi chicken plates there are more veggies (mushrooms and onions) than chicken. Everything came in one bag, so my sushi was a warm. My soup was in a tiny container, 1 cup (measurement) of soup to be exact. But do you remember that boiled chicken hibachi? I believe that's how the clear soup was born. The best thing about the whole order was my WARM spicy tuna roll, although the sushi portions are very small. In the bag, the restaurant only includes a plastic spoon, so no other plastic wear, napkins, or even CHOPSTICKS for my sushi. There were soy sauce packets in the sushi container. SN: GRUBHUB ORDER
