Steelers Seafood & Grill

This is a good all rounder club. Happy hour beers and cocktails on Friday and Saturday afternoons are very very cheap. Most of the staff are friendly and willing to go above and beyond. It is a great idea to become a member, for extra perks. They've recently opened a little cocktail area, which looks the part. We're not completely sold on the new crew that has taken over the restaurant. The quality of the food is decent, but some of their dishes are overpriced for a club restaurant.

Extremely poorly cooked steak that was not Rare but medium well at best. Gnocchi was as dry as I have ever seen. When the steak was taken back the chef disagreed saying it was medium. I feel sorry for the FOH staff as they must cop a lot of flack for a poor chef. He is rude and clearly not qualified. I will not be back.

Came out from Sydney for day and this was the first place we saw with easy parking. Best meal we’ve had in a long time. The seafood was cooked to absolute perfection. Steaks were a little off the mark for cook but still so good. Kids play area is large and it’s own room so they are not staring at police machines. Will be back for sure.

Quiet in bistro area, the food is really nice. Prices are reasonable. If you see meat that looks burnt, it's just I like very well done, 😄 I have eaten here few times and I will definitely come again. Close to local transport. Receptionist was welcoming and he ordered a taxi for us. For my experience at Illawarra Steelers I rate 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Steelers Club I want to give a big wrap to the Steelers Club. I was impressed with how polite all the staff were that we engaged with on Friday the 1st June 2018. Everyone we spoke with was helpful, knowledgable regarding the area and extremely welcoming. We attended and for dinner and we were not disappointed. The meals were a good size for the price, well cooked, tasty and came out in timely manner. It was a comfortable well designed and decorated venue with light easy going ambience. A give place to sit and eat and enjoy a few beers and/or a wine. I will certainly eat here again at the Steelers Club when we next visit Wollongong.
