Platform 61

One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Dublin. The restaurant was downstairs with a “basement” kind of vibe but it was very cozy and comfy inside, with a relaxed atmosphere. My partner and I ordered the garlic bread as a starter and it was delicious - it was sourdough so not the typical garlic bread but delicious nonetheless (just maybe order it with some kind of sauce). For mains we ordered the Hake and the Ribeye. We waited 45 minutes for it (because the kitchen forgot our order) but the manager - Kiko - gave us drinks on the house because we waited for so long. When the food came out the fish was stunning, it was so soft and juicy. The ribeye however was tough and chewy, but the server - Nick - took it away and had the kitchen remake it quickly and comped it 50%. After that both mains were super tasty and the manager (on top of the complimentary drinks, 50% comped steak) also offered us free dessert - brownie with ice cream. So huge thanks to Nick and Kiko for saving the night. We will 100% return again solely for the service!!

We asked for vegan avocado tost and it was delicious. Friendly staff, nice location and good food. Only the service was a bit slow, I think we waited for 40 minutes for the food we ordered. Price is fair compared to the similar restaurants around. The pictures from outside, inside of the restaurant is beautiful but I don’t have any photos of the same. I would recommend everyone to visit Platform 61.

I was in Platform 61 this Friday once again but this time with some friends who were there for their first time. Needless to say I had an absolutely amaaaaaazing time with them! I ordered my favorite: vegan avocado on toast with a side of sesame potatoes! 1000/10! Ugh!! Ridiculously delicious!!! The guys ordered non-vegan food and they were all delighted as well!! Of course we went for the bottomless drinks so the mimosas kept on coming! Special thanks to sweet Matko who looked after us! Before we knew it he was there with more mimosas! Dangerooooous! I couldn't recommend this place enough! Food, ambiance, and service will never let you down! I just caaaan't wait to go back - in fact the guys are already pressuring me! So see you all very soon I guess! Thaaaanks 😅

Always heard great things about this place, and recently got the opportunity to try it : absolute gem in the city ! Food and service were faultless. They do bottomless mimosas for €19. Good portions and excellent quality. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this place. Must have : the side baby potatoes with pepperoni and the brownie. :)

Was here yesterday for brunch. Nice menu and the food we ordered was really good, nicely presented. Staff were really busy but were very friendly and efficient. The only down side was, in the current climate, it felt crowded and no apparent ventilation in the back section. I felt nervous and I should have asked if there was a table outside free. Outside table are nicely set up on the street with heaters. Will go again for sure but outside next time!
