Fishnets Takeaway

As a lean bodied small portion eater, we bought a family of 4 pack but there was enough food for only 2 adults. Considering the price of potatoes the chips was a serving of 1 (chips were garbage). They charge extra $1 for a small tub of sauce. see pic of what you get for a grand total $38. They also make you wait outside in the sun while waiting for the food. (the seafood was good though).

Dropped in for some fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised. Old school decor in the shop which is nice. Very friendly staff and quick service. Lovely piece of fish, cooked perfectly with not too much batter. Nice big chunk of lemon. Generous serving of chips with a good balance of crispy salty exterior but soft inside. Highly recommend this place and I will be back for sure.

Very affordable staffs are friendly. There is a toilet, and a hand washing facility. Not wheelchair accessible, but I think because the staffs are friendly they would be able to help when some one needs a hand from outside as there are seats at the outside area. Good old fishnets , one of the biggest burger and seafood places in the Illawarra, has a great reputation for the healthy sized portions of food , has new owners since the last time I was there but the food still great.. big selection of fish and chips , bacon and egg rolls are massive as is there burgers , so head on down to fishnets , if your hungry you won't be dissapointed :)
