Blue Elephant Thai Woolgoolga

After craving Thai for too long we stopped by Thai Chai Yo on our weekend trip to the coast. It was a great space and a minimal wait. Huge men’s to choose from, but I’m that basic for really wanting Pad Thai. Both dishes were very yummy and exactly what we came for. I did not leave one noodle on that plate, it truly hit the spot. The only odd thing was my plate was brought out around 10 minutes before my partners, which was odd. And his green curry did not come with rice, which we had never come across before. So it was a wait for rice after that as well. That was our bad for assuming! Should have asked. Absolutely would visit again to branch out from the basic Pad Thai I was craving. Friendly service. Great spot. Couldn’t go wrong here!

Update, This establishment Never, Ever disappoints 👍 Best food Ever! This establishment is clean, cozy and absolutely delicious. The first time I received a delivery, not only could I ask for a particular time for it to be delivered, it was on time! I have been back a few time's since then and intend on going there as much as possible. The vegetarian options are Great! The owner is lovely and friendly to boot! 😁

Very disappointed. The food is expensive and is hardly authentic. The young girls were very helpful & tried hard. The owner is an utter pig. Just have a quick read of his replies to some reviews - I am gobsmacked. It appears that he does not rely on repeat business. I'm a tradie & apart from on site, I have never heard anyone talk to their staff like he does. Whether customers are present or not, a potty mouth and a condescending, racist attitude is completely and utterly unacceptable - especially around young women. This guy is going to have an harassment claim coming his way shortly... We are a regular at woopi & will never go to this restaurant again or recommend it at all. Go through the alley and use the other restaurants - they're heaps better.
