Texas Roadhouse

Although our experience started with a hiccup because there was at least an hour wait. We decided to wait and left to do some shopping and while we were finishing we got a page that we would be seated soon. The wait staff was great and the food was as good as always. Can't beat their steaks! Despite the wait time it was a very good meal!

My party of 4 were told there was a 2 hour wait and it was 9:30. So we sat at the bar. The person behind the bar was rude in the beginning. She warmed up after a while. Our steaks were full of fat. We sent 1 order back. The drinks were non alcoholic if you ask me. Even the extra shot seemed like it was water. The only "food" that was good was the bread and butter. Everything else was not worth the price.

Had the best steak in my life in a long time here. Done to perfection (medium rare) and topped with sauteed mushrooms and onions, this meal truly awakened my taste buds. The steak fries were good, but a tad too salty. Side salad was very tasty and full of fresh cut ingredients. Atmosphere was amicable with plenty of TVs around the bar and pleasant interior design.

It was early and I was by myself but told there was a wait so I ate at the bar although not drinking. The bar tenderest was very nice. The food was fast and excellent. I am from Texas and it’s very hard to find country fried steak with white gravy! Can’t wait to go back. When I left around 6:30 the line was out the door.

My husband and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner on Saturday, July 2. We were told there would be a 35 minute wait for a table, which is what they were telling everyone who walked in the door. We sat in our car (as recommended by the hostess) for 15 minutes before getting a text that our table was ready. We stood inside the restaurant for another 20+ minutes waiting for a table. Why recommend waiting in your car if they're going to make you wait inside the restaurant for 20 minutes anyway? There was an employee washing the windows without gloves and then was handling baskets of rolls without washing his hands. The group of female employees hanging out at the hostess stand were gossiping about customers and made a federal case out of a customer touching the hand of one of the employees. My husband and were finally seated, ordered drinks and then our meals. The restaurant was packed, it took a while for our meals to be served. When our meals were served, my plate looked like something you'd serve a toddler. A steak that was very obviously cut from a larger piece of meat -- it was overcooked, dry as sawdust, and bland. There was no seasoning, not even salt and pepper, on my food. I told the waitress to take it back and take it off the bill, as I was not going to eat that. My husband's meal was OK, he said it was edible. The steak was so overcooked that when he cut into it there weren't even any juices on the plate. The fries were a salt bomb, he didn't finish them. They didn't even have a manager come over and speak to us or anything. And then the waitress offered us dessert, which was laughable, considering that she was well aware that I hadn't even eaten dinner. We left and got food from McDonald's.
