Millets Restaurant

Millets combination noodles and Szechuan chicken noodles were ok, a little bland but lots of meat, seafood and veg. Had the combination laksa which was so fabulous that I forgot to take a photo before I ate it. Would definitely go back for the Laksa and perhaps try one of the sizzling plates instead.

Went here with a group of friends and decided to sit outside because it was a nice day. We ordered a bunch of mains and shared them between us along with entrees so we ended up trying a lot of dishes. Every single one of them was tasty and generously portioned. It's a slightly westernised Thai inspired menu which is great for those not overly adventurous. Unlike many other Asian restaurants that fill a lot of there dishes with loads of vegetables with traces of meat, millets dishes were very well balanced. Service was good... Food was good and well priced. Location is good, what's not to like. I'll be coming back again next time I'm in the area.

A couple of friends and i went here just after the easing of the COVID-19 restrictions so we could support local businesses. We originally had made a booking at another nearby business, only to find that business had 'mistakenly given our booking to someone else', so we ended up randomly walking next door into Millets instead. It was definitely the best decision to have made too! Although the employee was incredibly rushed, their customer service was fast, efficient and friendly. I was a little disappointed in the quantity of Coke in the jug we ordered, which came well below the 1L level indicator. We ordered our entrees to arrive at the same time as our mains, and two of our mains were brought out very quickly, although well ahead of rice, entrees and the mains of other people with us. The quality, quantity and flavour of the food was absolutely fantastic, with everyone agreeing that the quality and flavour far surpassed our expectations and most other similar food we've consumed in the past. The size of the dishes and the amount of food was very impressive too, with all of us not actually being able to finish our meals - we ended up requesting take-away containers for a considerable amount we couldn't eat! The prices were a bit more than what i'd typically expect to pay for the type of food we received, but the quality and quantity (apart from the jug of Coke) pretty well justified the increase in cost, with pricing not being excessive, - just slightly more than normal. Overall, the business is a fantastic surprise we enjoyed and will be returning to on a frequent basis in the future!

After ordering charcoal barbecue skewers, I was told they were sold out, they called up and asked me if. I prefer chicken skewers instead, I said that would be fine, 15 minutes later they cancelled the order completely. Didn't bother to call me, just decided they will just cancel the order. Not professional at all and I would advise to try an alternative restaurant
