Simpson Kiosk

It is a lovely outdoor dining area that has a surprisingly good menu. I was expecting just simple sort of kiosk food but it is a lot more sophisticated than that. They gave great tea and coffee and the toasted sandwich was reallt good. My friend has hot chips and they looked and smelled amazing! They had more main meal types choices also. There are ducks around who are not shy and it has a nice atmosphere. Great for families as it is right next to the duck pond so the kids can watch the ducks.

Lovely spot next to the duck pond in beautiful Botanic gardens. There is an open air undercover seating area as well as many outdoor settings with sun umbrellas and largely shaded by trees. Selection is minimal but good quality and moderately priced, and the coffee is nice . There are some gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options, not alot, but proportional for the size of the overall selection.

Beautiful surroundings, relaxing atmosphere, ducks paddling away while you sit and enjoy a snack. Seating available indoor and outdoor. Food & drinks menu available is great however service and wait times need improvement. A little too pricey for snack items. Outdoor seating area is run down, could do with a revamp. Rest room is also in need of an upgrade and clean.
