Sushi Train

Yum! Great sushi train! Fresh and tasty sushi with a selection of seafood, chicken, vegetarian and sweet sushi plates! Staff were jovial and welcoming! Facilities were clean and staff were accommodating to our needs. Was busy, but I imagine this was due to the popularity of the restaurant. Will be back!

God I love Sushi Train, all of them. But this is my fave. Recentlyish moved to this new location and greatly improved, much larger and many more covers. Go early to avoid frustration and to get a spot without waiting. Food is the same as all the others-consistently good, freshly made obviously, varied, not especially authentic but that’s what we westerners want!

I am very disappointed with my recent visit as online order for pick up. I made an order online and the app says it will be ready by 1.15pm but I arrived and waited for an hour, left the store at 2.30pm. It goes like this: I came to the store on time but the front staff told me it will be a 5 minutes wait. However my order was not ready and I asked the staff again, and the staff told me to wait for another 5 minutes. I noticed the kitchen staff was only starting my order now (after 20 minutes wait at the store). I realised the staff is just brushing me off to stall time without giving me the actual additional waiting time. While I was waiting for my meal, I noticed 3 other uber drivers picked up their orders although I have been waiting there for the past 30 minutes in store. Kitchen staff was skipping my order and serving other customers ahead of me. It appears that they are avoiding my order as it was a larger order compared to the ones that were sent out whilst I was there. The staff whome served me repeatedly telling me to wait 5 minutes and would avoid me. I finally asked them to give me a proper waiting time as my car is in a loading zone, the waiter told me to come back after an hour to collect my order. I had to go back to my car and await for the phone call. An hour later, the staff called me saying the order is ready. However disappointingly, the order was done incorrectly. The staff did not bother telling me 3 of my orders were sold out, only when I confronted it was missing in my delivery bag, they want to replace it with another type of sushi. I am extremely frustrated with the fact they try to brush me off again with an incomplete order (hoping I did not check when collecting my order). This is not acceptable as a service. Staff does not treat customers equally, incorrect details of pickup time, would not admit that they were running late and provide a responsible solution and nil apologies for such poor service and long waiting time. I waited for more than an hour for my initial waiting time and my order collected in the end was also not satisfactory.
