Haven't been here since it was Eli's Steakhouse about 40 yrs ago. Of course it's changed quite a bit but still has great food and large portions reasonably priced. Our server was Lucy R and she was great. If you've not been there it's well worth a try. Ask to be seated in Lucy's section for great service.

So, picked this place because it was close to Goodyear theater,and we were going to see a show there, that started at 8pm. We arrived, and were sat at a table at 7:05. Ordered before 7:10, because we saw they were busy, and wanted to give us time to get 3 minutes up the road to the theater. The chips were amazing that they give you, with a dip that was even more surprising. The atmosphere was cool. Very neighborhood like feel with people laughing and enjoying themselves. So... 730 rolls around, im getting antsy but still feel its ok, we will miss a few minutes of the opening act. 745...waiter comes by and asks if were ready to order....... We Ordered a half hour ago. So he flipped through his book, saw our ticket, and played it off and said he'd go check on our meal. Meal arrives at 8:15... We literally vacuum our food into our faces,and leave. Missed the entire opening act, no time for drinks, so we sat and angered at what was supposed to be a nice date night. Before 730 rolled around we were talking about coming back to this place and bringing two other couples. Well that idea is out now. No real apology. No hey let's give you one of these meals free or nothing. I will not return to this establishment.

They were not prepared for a busy night of service and did not announce expected wait times when we walked in. No lie, we spent an hour and a half there before we got our food. It took 20 minutes to get my cocktail and it tasted awful. Another 20 plus minutes to get my replacement beer. Another crazy long wait to be asked what we wanted to order, and so on. You get the point. Every time I grabbed my purse to leave then someone would magically show up to say stuff would be right out - which it never did but then it became too late to go elsewhere and still catch the movie we wanted to see. The food was just ok and by then we were starving. Really surprised since the place has positive reviews. I would never return to a place with this kind of service.
