Waffle House

Excellent service. When we got there it was 2nd shift switching to 3rd shift. Our waitress Lucky let us know that it was carryout only, which was fine. She and our cook were excellent. Our food was hot when we got home. I meal was made wrong but they were willing to remake it, I said no it was fine. Excellent all the way around. Will be back again.

I just stopped in this restaurant, and the employees stated that they were only doing to go orders, which given the labor shortage, I understand. My issue was not with that, it was more about the way they presented themselves. They were short, terse, and a bit standoffish. I left instead, and went to Denny's nearby, where I was met at the door by a manager that was in the middle of mopping the floor, had a smile and a fantastic attitude. The management at waffle House should perhaps go a few doors down to see how service is done

First day we called in our order. They did none of it correctly. We both felt I'll after eating the food we were given. We love waffle houses. We gave it another try. They refused to seat us. They said it takes an hour for shift change and they wouldn't seat anyone that hour. That was the night crew on 5/14/2022. Steer clear of this place, staff is rude lazy and didn't even get our food correctly.

Staff was friendly and welcoming! Food was made quickly and correctly! Layla (yes, named after the hit song, so good on ya Mom and Dad) was very friendly, assertive, and checked on us various times! Great to see good, wholesome employees in a time when others decide to stay home and not put forth the effort!

Server was amazing, but only having one server and one cook on Sunday night of memorial day weekend shows poor management. Had to wait until food came for drinks because server was so busy dealing with rude customers and we were trying to be as polite as possible, as she was doing everything she could and clearly being over worked
