Italo's Pizza

I’ve just recently started going here and let me say, I am very satisfied! The pizza is amazing, my go to is the bbq chicken pizza, I like to add bacon. They also having amazing staff, you just have to be patient considering they’re short staffed like everywhere is currently. I’d definitely recommend.

Used to come here with my family back when I was young. Now it seems to be under new management that really doesn’t care. The pizza has always been great. However, the chicken is the worst chicken in Akron. They fry it at such a high temp that when it comes out, it’s bone dry and raw. Really disappointed. This place used to be good.

This location just lost a long time customer. Must be new under new management or something. Ordered their typical lasagna dinner (usually priced 7.95-great deal and comes with salad).However, the person answering the phone said it was $ 10.95. After I told her it was Thursday special she said Oh yea, 7.95). When picking up order I inquired about the little tossed salad and she said they no longer come with dinner. I asked who was in charge and some young man, told me the same thing. I point to their flyer next to the register which listed the special comes with salad and he said it was no longer applies. I told him it equates to "false advertisement". Asked who the manager was and he reluctantly said someone named Sheila after several inquires. He did not know how to handle the situation or had any authority to offer a discount since full order was provided as advertised. Overall, poor customer service and the food has gone downhill in the last two months. Don't see them staying open much longer with their attitude and increase prices.

The food is good, but they need to get a handle on their service. I ordered a small pizza and they accidentally made a medium...instead of offering that to me they made me wait while they made the small after I paid. They said 10 minutes...it ended up being 30. By the time my pizza was done, the wings I ordered were cold. I would have gladly paid the price difference between the small and medium if it meant not sitting there for an extra 30 minutes but that wasn't even offered as an option. Because the space is small I had to wait in my car which is fine, but that meant I didn't know when the pizza was ready so I had to keep popping in to check on a busy Friday. The whole thing made me feel like I was an inconvenience and then I got to eat a partially cold dinner.

I wouldn't even give them 1star....we ordered from there because I got a coupon and decided we would like to try a new pizza shop close to home. I accidentally forgot my coupon at home even though I had told them I had one when I ordered. They refused to give me the discount. Ok my fault but most places would still give you the discount but they charged me $10.00 more. They said my chicken wasn't done so I had to wait on it. Then another 5minutes for them to get the coleslaw that came with my order. Then when I got home the pizza was NOT what I ordered, and it was completely COLD. The chicken was so dry you couldn't chew it. PLEASE don't ever order from here because I surely wouldn't.
