Excellent food and small town atmosphere. No panic over covid nor smothering under mask therapy. In this culture that deserves 5 stars! With that kind of resilience it's small wonder they've won several state awards.

Best place locally for amazing grilled meats! The salmon is to die for as the steaks that are as big as the plates.

Amazing! Drove from Winterset because of the great recommendation from a friend. Was my wife's and my anniversary. Well worth it. The prime rib was perfect and the staff were the best. Met the owner and his wife. Great people. Spent the night in a local bed and breakfast. Will make plans to go again soon. Thank you so much for a fantastic evening!

The first time going was perfect to the t the meat was seasoned to perfection and as tender as could be, the 2and time going was not so perfect the steak was not as perfect but it was still delicious.
