Highway Restaurant

This is a really good small town highway dinner. They have a big menu, the staff was really friendly, & the food was really good. They have daily specials & pie in the dessert case that you walk by when you walk in the door. I got the chicken fried steak which came out completely covered in gravy & they served real mashed potatoes with it, not instant. My wife got the Turkey Club which had actual chunks of turkey breast, not just store deli meat. The breakfast looks great & I'll definitely be back to try that out sometime soon!

Someone in my family eats here at least once a week. The owner neck is really nice. They have nice specials everyday Is along with specialty soups. You can get breakfast anytime the omelets are really good and large. There is a nice variety of sandwiches, salad's, Italian dishes, steaks, and fish. The only negative is that sometimes they do not have enough help. Dinner prices are more expensive for lunch and you get the same thing so I don't like that. Very family friendly and a very clean restaurant.

My granddaughter ordered mickey mouse pancakes and they where not what she expected. Had to send them back. .. My daughter ordered a Denver breakfast skillet it was very cold.. hash browns was still half raw. Eggs was cold and not done right.. my breakfast plate was cold.. your hostess made up all kinds of different excuses of why things was cold.. not a very good excuse..I've been in the restaurant business for over 25 years and I the first place I would of not let my cook or waitress serve food like this.. we pay for good food and service and we didn't get either one..would not recommend this place at all anymore.. would of when they cared..
