Ceviche Taqueria & Margarita Bar

This location was hard to find as the sign does not stand out and easy to pass. It’s across from the new hotel. You will have to use parking garage if street parking is not available. We didn’t have reservations so we were on the big patio out back. The hostess said it was fine because we would have shade and fans. It was absolutely miserable with our group. None of the fans worked, it was hot as our drinks melted soon as we got them, and the flies were insane. We kept our menus just to use as fans. There was a huge party that was set up and they were the only ones who had working fans - go figure. I did enjoy my new cocktail they have called the Dragon Fly. It was cold and refreshing. For my meal I had a burrito bowl with shrimp. I was not impressed because there was so much shredded lettuce it was all of the taste. Very little rice and beans and my shrimp had the tails still on them which was extra work to remove them Versus if they were off. Our waiter was nice and very apologetic but our group was not pleased at all. We have tried other places with similar foods that was much better and a much cooler environment.

LOVED this place. I appreciated the size of the restaurant as it appears small from the outside but has plenty of indoor and outdoor dining space. The margheritas we’re all really good, especially considering I generally don’t care for them! My group got a trio of dips, and the queso is FANTASTIC. The chips had a really solid taste as well. Their ceviche was probably the best I’ve had anywhere, and I am big on Mexican food. The service was a bit here and there and took us some time to actually order, but overall not bad and I would definitely return.

Stopped by to check the place out today. Still exploring the plethora of places to eat up here. We ate under the awning street-side. I went for the Pork Barbacoa with black beans and corn tortillas. The BlackBerry Smoke is made with Banhez Mezcal, Combier Mure, and Fever Tree ginger beer. Lovely way to spend lunchtime on a Sunday. 🤓

We had them cater our sons wedding rehearsal dinner at our home. They went above and beyond duty. Delivery was prompt, set up and serving was excellent. Polite and helpful. They cleaned up well and left without a trace of being there other than the great leftovers for the groom to take back to the guys that night. Definitely recommend them for ANY catering event!!!
