Twisted Taco

It’s crazy, I came in here for lunch and I was shown to a seat, but I’ve waited 40min and not one person has asked me for a drink or lunch while I sit and watch other people come in and get served! I feel invisible, and they are not busy at all. If you want better service or ANY service at all, go somewhere else.

I have to say that I was surprised to see the number of poor reviews for this location. I have eaten here several times and have always been satisfied with my orders. Coming from the Gulf Coast, seems obvious that the Down Home and Boom Boom shrimp tacos should be my favorites. Well, they are! Throw in the Baja and my three taco order is well worth the price. I would agree with some of the more negative reviews that the wait staff usually runs on the lean side. A couple of times I thought the restaurant could benefit from at least couple of additional servers. And I was a little disappointed that on my last visit my server did not know the difference between fresh and pickled jalapenos.

Used my lunch break at work to go pick up my to go order. Got back to the office and my order had been completely butchered, and I only received two of the three tacos I paid for. Bartender had a poor attitude and treated me like an inconvenience. Not a great experience at all. I've visited several locations and this was the worst Twisted Taco I've ever been to.

Twisted Taco is a great place to go when you want to grab a quick bite to eat. This location is pretty small and the service is OK. The mix and match tacos are always nice, but there isn't much variety in terms of choosing your vessel to hold the taco insides. Overall I wouldn't not come back, but when there are other better options around here for tacos, it's also not the first on my list to venture to.

My wife and I ate at Twisted Taco for a baby shower with a couple of friends. Since we were a large group we were seated on the second floor so we could all sit together. The environment is very fun and twisted to match the name. Our server was fast and knowledgable on their beer selections. Although, he did get a little overwhelmed with our large party he continued to keep up. They even stayed open for us 30 minutes later then normal.

This place has great tacos but I expect that because it is after all in the name. Would be a shame if they did not have great tacos. They have an extensive number of taco options so you can pick what you like. I swing by here on Tuesday when the tacos are on sale. That's when I stuff my face with tacos like I'm starving. I haven't had anything here that wasn't good.
