Hudson Grille

This place has the most atrocious service. The place was pretty empty, but we had to hunt down or server the entire time we were there. We ended up having to walk over to the booth she was sitting in, where she was playing on her phone, to ask for water. My nachos were missing some of the ingredients, but I just gave up and ate them since the server never came back around to check. The photo I posted was the view nearly the entire evening of how attentive she was. I think the worst part about it is that the manager was hanging out as well, while her and other servers were sitting on booths, playing around on their phones. How this location is still open, I don't know. I very rarely post negative reviews of a place and always try to look for the best in experiences, but this was awful.

I went around 3:15pm, had fantastic service. There were only a couple other tables, so we were seated the second we walked in. Our server was great. He knew the menu well, and informed us of some deals they had going on. The food was great. The crab bisque is delicious. The markers mark burger is also very good. Cooked just how I like it!

As a customer of the old Windward location several times per year, I wanted to give the newer location a try. Not a good move on my part...still a lot of loose ends to tie up here. Honestly, the 3.1 rating they get overall here is a good bit high unless some things change quickly. I really wanted to rate this a 1 but it's a local business close to my home and I hate to see local businesses fail...so 1 extra star to grow on. I walked in tonight...probably 15 patrons in the whole place at 8:30...not a good sign...the word is evidently out concerning the inadequacies. At any rate, I went to the bar as I was eating alone. Bartender was nowhere to be found, but came out after a few minutes and asked me if I wanted something to drink...no greeting, just "can I get you a drink?". I asked if there were any beer specials...his reply, "No". I order a Shock Top, then order the Megatron Burger. Burger was very average and not a lot of flavor other than the pickled onion which was strongly prevalent, but the kicker was the plastic wrapper or whatever I bit into about halfway through the burger (photos below). My glass sat empty about 5 minutes before I was offered another. After the 2nd, I wasn't offered another, but I didn't want to stick around anyway after my "saran wrap burger" and Mr. personality bartender. The bartender just automatically brought my tab after the 2nd drink...never asked if I wanted another, never asked how my food was (was planning on telling him about my glad wrap burger, but he never gave me the chance), and didn't say thank you when he dropped off the check or my card. He was friendly with a couple of guys that were obviously regulars, but you're not going to get anymore regulars when you act like you don't care if the newbies like me are there or not. Oh...another note...when I got my tab, the Shock Top was listed as a $3.75 "Summer Promo Special"...Mr. Personality Bartender dude, KNOW YOUR SPECIALS! I hope the place makes it and I hope for the local economy's sake they turn it around, but Mr. Manager (whoever you are), there's a LOT of attention to detail that is lacking here and if you don't work on it FAST, this place is going to go down like the Titanic. My 2 pennies worth...

Hudson Grille used to be an awesome place when located on Winward. When family came to town that is where we went. We have been to the location on North Point Parkway twice now. Service is slow. Food is slow. Wings are small and tasteless. Can not say I will be back, but I will not recommend the JUMBO wings.

This is my second visit to this location. I must say the young lady who waited on my son & I was great. I hope I'm spelling this correctly but her name is Tarina. Her support was not good meaning the kitchen. My first visit a month ago I called ahead from Cobb County about 45 minutes away upon arrival my food wasn't ready. It was about 1030pm on a week night. There wasn't a crowd. Last night about 1030 pm again we ordered in the wait time wasn't bad but the wings were fried super hard and didn't taste good. We didn't find this out until we arrived home. Needless to say I will pass on this restaurant in the future.

I'll be honest this restaurant gave us a slow start .All the kinks are now worked out ! With timing and service. They are amazing at taking care of your needs and work as a team to do so. Also join their VIP program and get $10 towards dining on your birthday . They also carry some tasty vegetarian options like deep fried cauliflower in any of their zesty sauces and the impossible burger you can get as a patty to any way they make their burgers ! They also have cheese fries with queso just saying . The atmosphere if your into watching sports multiple TVs will fit you!
