Jose's Mexican Grill

Waited to be seated while the manager cleaned up a mess on the floor. Then waited probably 5 minutes for anyone to approach and bring us menus. One waitress on the floor, she said someone called in sick. 4 out of 5 orders were wrong. There was a bug in one person's water. Chips were old. Food was served with NO SILVERWARE and there was something foreign in one of the dishes. It was so disgusting we could not finish our meal. Incredibly bad experience. Will NEVER eat there again.

The shrimp and fish tacos are great. However, the customer service is exceptionally LOUSY. The first few times that I visited right after they opened, they were very nice. I guess since they have settled into the neighborhood they've become comfortable and as a result, they don't have the desire to extend proper customer service. I place orders for pick up and as a result I have to pick up my order at the bar. The bar staff is very rude. Between them tossing my credit card back at me like it's a frisby and not knowing how to properly make change when I pay with cash. This place has really gone downhill. Although they are within a comfortable walking distance, I've decided to travel another mile up the road to La Parilla where I can get great food AND great service.

Met my daughter here to transfer my grandson after a visit, since she works near here. I had a full dinner in the crockpot at home, but it looked so good I couldn't resist. I had a shrimp taco, and my husband had a steak taco. The shrimp taco had lots of stuff on it (cucumber and a VERY tasty sauce); the steak taco was just steak (VERY tender) with a cup of stuff to add (like pico I think). That shrimp taco was one of the best things I have ever eaten. My husband liked his steak taco as well, and talked about going back - and my husband is one of those people that only gives a place one chance. They evidently have two types of soup - I saw them both - one has avocados in it, the other has a red broth, tortillas and cheese. Both looked fantastic. They have a large menu, which I will not be needing - a soup and a bunch of shrimp tacos for me!

Poor quality food and worst customer service I have ever experienced.When we had to return the order and ask for something else the management was very rude and the woman in charge started shouting at us. No decency at all. In women's bathroom toilet seat was broken and the sink was broken. Absolutely no respect for hygiene whatsoever.CERTAINLY NOT A PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO EAT OUT, PERIOD!
