Such a great vibe! Very friendly staff and always busy. I don’t even eat meat but the baked potato and mixed greens are fantastic. (got the meat on the side and gave to a friend) Their bbq sauce is the best, too! Their sweet potatoes are the best I’ve ever had! My friend ordered a 2 meat plate with two sides and loved it all- had to take half of it home bc it was so much food! Good prices (It was 17$ for a baked potato with brisket and a side of greens-it’s a lot of food y’all!) Don’t hesitate to eat here!

THE PLACE: Delvin's is absolutely fantastic! The staff (who are actually the family that own and run the place) are super polite, friendly, and very personable. You order at the counter, they let you know which table to sit at, and then they bring you your drinks and food. As for the menu, there are a ton of great choices and the prices are insanely reasonable! THE FOOD We got the 2 meat plate which came with a roll and the choice of 2 sides. The portions were generous for sure! My other half got their ribs and brisket with sweet potato casserole and greens with cabbage. I got their brisket and sausage with sweet potato casserole and fries. None of it was greasy and all of it was amazing! The brisket and ribs both had great smoked flavor. The sausage was tender and has a great mild flavor. The sweet potato casserole isn't overly sweet and had a nice crunchy topping to it. The fries had more of a baked feel and were cooked perfectly! Lastly, the greens and cabbage were flavored very well and were nice and tender. We will DEFINITELY be back! 😁

The folks working here were super friendly and the food came out quickly and was delicious. We tried the ribs, brisket, turkey, and pulled pork and they were all perfectly smoky, moist, and tender. The sauce was just the right balance of sweet and tangy. We have high standards for mac and cheese and Delvin’s definitely met them—the noodles weren’t too mushy and the cheese was flavorful, not bland. The baked beans had a great savory flavor and weren’t too sweet like some can be. The cabbage and greens were unexpectedly melt-in-your-mouth buttery. Our daughter is still squealing about the smiles she got from the adorable baby there!

Delvin's is my favorite barbeque and soul food restaurant in Amarillo. Their classic southern sides like cabbage & greens and sweet potato casserole are fantastic! It's a small shop but it's never so busy that you feel like you're waiting in line. It's family owned and operated and they're the nicest most helpful folks. Even their restrooms are very clean and nice. This is a must-try if you're in to southern soul food! Give them a chance to surprise you!

I wanted some soul food so I Google and this one came up. I Googled on a Monday and said they were closed, my thought was who closes on a Monday. So I go Tuesday wasn't expecting much just food right.... well to my surprise the service and food was delicious! Very professional and ribs were juicy not dry at all. The sweet potato Castrol was just right and the greens/cabbage mix was amazing. I paid $20 for the lunch and will do it again before I leave Amarillo. I highly suggest Delvins to anyone wanting good food and great service they will not disappoint your appetite.
