Asian Paradise

Always looking to support local, our family has patronized Asian Paradise for sometime. While it has never been my favorite, my family tend to enjoy the restaurant. Fairly affordable, the food does lack flavor, and customer service. Looking past that, they are close to our home and again, we love to support our local businesses. However, as of tonight I have decided that we will no longer eat there and will take our business elsewhere locally. Understanding that they close at 8pm, I quickly called them at 7:43p to place a simple chicken fried rice order. The gentleman answering the phone, whom has lacked customer service skills, hung up after stating "we close at 8pm". I tried calling back and no answer. By that time I was already at the restaurant and wanted to place our order in person. He again mentioned we close at 8pm, and I told him I understand, but it was not 8pm, it was 7:50pm. I followed up with, "So you are not going to be able to serve me then?" and the gentleman looked around the corner and threw his hands up in the air and confirmed that he wouldn't serve me. Folks, you are only open 5 hours out of the day, if you wish to change your hours, then do so, but if your hours does publicly state 8pm, then the lights and the doors are on and open till 8pm. Great food. Located next to circle k. Cute little spot. Monday’s they are closed. They serve Pho as well. They do have lunch specials every day till 3pm! It comes with soup, 2 cream cheese wontons & your choice of fried or white rice. The portions are good amounts. I asked for crackers for the soup and I love a lot so I asked for more and it’s $1 for more but they bring out a bigger plate of crackers. I guess I didn’t really need more. I got egg drop soup and it was delicious. We also got chicken egg rolls and it was okay. Not the best. I got the lo mein with chicken and pork and it was good. Also we got the teriyaki chicken and fried rice. It was good. Especially the cream cheese wontons. My brother got the orange chicken and it was spicy. They put a lot of sauce over the chicken.

Terrible experience. My husband and I went to dine inside. Service was terrible. After ordering, I saw the guy packing it to go. I told him it was for here, but he handed the bag over. So we left and went home to eat it. Got home to find out that the sweet and sour pork that we ordered had no sweet and sour sauce! I called in and the terrible service continued as the guy insisted that he gave it to us and I assured him that he did not. After about 5 rounds of going back and forth like that, he said we could come back and pick up the sauce. While our food sat at home and got cold. He offered no apology and no compensation. And the food was tasteless. Never again.

Okay where to start with this absolutely terrible borderline disgusting food. Let's talk about the orange chicken I ordered. The orange chicken is nothing but sugar it's sweet no spice no flavor no orange no nothing just sugar on fried chicken that has no flavor absolutely disgusting had to throw it away Now let's talk about the lo mein. The noodles have no flavor vegetables no flavor I think I have covid but I don't. Absolutely terrible had to throw them away Mongolian chicken, where to start with this mess first of all the flavor was disgusting not even sure how to describe it something I would have dug up from my backyard after my dog threw it up probably is what that taste like The food at this restaurant is gross I will never order from here again do yourself a favor go to another restaurant this one the food is terrible.

Not impressed. My family and I came in a sat down. The man came out and answered the phone then went back to the kitchen. He came out later and gave another person her take out order. Both times he looked at us and didn't acknowledge us. After about 10 minutes we just left. I am not sure why they are in business if they don't want to serve food. The service her is awful and the staff is rude.

Customer service is great, staff are always friendly and they make sure your drinks are filled and that you are happy with your meal. I have seen few complaints about the portion size, and I have no idea what they are talking about and why is it low portion. I had plenty on my plate, and I do eat a lot. The place is very clean, and the quality of food for the price you are paying is great. I am going to give them 5 stars for their service, cleanliness, and the way they treat their customers. One recommendation I would give is try to make it more authentic and bring some south east Asian spices, but again, I like my spices and please take this as a compliment.
