Pizza Ranch

Would give zero stars if we could. We went on kids eat free night. Normal busy night for the ranch. Normally we go to Oshkosh, but we were in Appleton. Husband and i paid for our buffet meal. When we approached. There was no food. We waited for over 30 minutes. Still not many options. They brought out like one pizza every 10 minutes. Obviously scooped up in seconds. Chicken was gone. No pasta. No gravy or potatoes. Nothing! I got a plate of 4 chicken fries and small scoop of Mac n cheese. For almost $14. My 2 kids got a breadstick and maybe some potato wedges and not much for my husband. I approached Laura the god awful manager and asked for a refund for one adult meal. She rolled her eyes and scoffed at me and rudely said no one will get a refund as there is food up there. I kindly asked where. I also stated I don’t have time to sit here all night waiting for food. This is a buffet. If staff is that short then they need to shut the doors for the evening or stop accepting customers. For being a manager she did not care to remedy it and was rude. I couldn’t get a picture of the pizza bar because they brought a pizza out and everyone swarmed there.

Other than the food shortage signs and you still pay the same price fir tge buffet. Missing dressing. Brown salad. Missing cottage cheese. Eggs are mush. Have to wait for chicken. I used to love this place lately it has been failing. I hope it gets better for service because when they had it going it was great. Hot food. Silverware in every container.

The last 2 times we went there wasn’t much of a buffet. Barely any food. What’s brought out is gone in seconds. Staff seems annoyed about anything when asked if more would be coming out. Definitely not worth the $14 adult price when I get a few little scoops of mashed potatoes and a piece of chicken at best. We will find somewhere else to dine.

This place was terrible. The pizza was sub par at best. The employee did give me a set of glove when I asked for them after seeing a person wipe their nose and immediately grab the food handles. The availability of food was not good, As soon as new stuff was brought out the buffet for swarmed. If you weren't paying attention or couldn't see the buffet form your table you'd miss out on freshness.

Love Pizza Ranch chain! So many choices - evening hours of operation are not accommodating for working families picking up kids at daycare. Need to stay open at least to 8 or 9 PM. Employees were not refilling anything by 6:30. We felt rushed as we arrived about 6:15, paying full price, but not receiving full menu nor service.
