First of all I am really disappointed in the food i Order big feed or feats in picture there are peas but instead they put potatoes now i got extra potatoes with chips come on they didn't ask or call and said anything Second the chicken your famous chicken salty and taste no difference like coles roast not sure they are same company or not but really disappoint but at least coles chicken little bit better and your chicken is so dried and salty your nugget cheese totally blend inside burger is the only decent thing i can eat the rest i have to throw it out cause it's really taste awful i am quite picky and really really disappointed in your food. Corn really watery and sweet because of corn no butter better to grill with butter instead of boiling and give butter on side . Worst of all if your peas are out you guys should at least call for replacement or refund instead you add more potatoes with more chips this is absurd. I recommend you take this seriously cause if not you will lose more customer in future Thank you and have a great day

By far the worst experience I've ever witnessed in a fast food chain. The service was absolutely atrocious. We were left waiting by the til for 5 minutes before being served. The guy ordering people around greeted us and apologised for the delay in serving. However, as we paid for the order. He continued at the back to order the other staffs around. Very strong personality and unlikeable. What I would call a two face. I think he needs to take a leadership course and humble himself. (Red rooster should definitely cover this as part of his professional development) Food otherwise was pretty good!

The restaurant is clean, staff are attentive to customers and the overall ordering process is fast and easy. The stores management is relatively new so I could imagine what it'd be like adjusting to a new environment, ensuring the right staff are hired etc. This Red Rooster is in a great location, it has plenty of car parks, along along with heaps of indoor seating, toilets etc. Great location for lunch or dinner, it has a cosy and quiet feel when eating in.

Red Rooster on Mount Alexander Road Ascot Vale is a bit of an enigma. It has a strange 90s feel about it. It feels old. Unloved. Before ordering I was asked if I had cash. Odd. Then informed that there was something wrong with the eftpos terminals and it was cash only. Luckily I had cash. I could hear the same thing being said to drive through customers as well - causing many to drive straight through. In COVID times - cash only? Albeit - let’s give them the benefit of the doubt and it wasn’t some sort of end of year bonus for the owners. I ordered the chicken burger combo it’s called the ‘Reds Combo’. I was expecting from the photo that the chicken would be a fillet - but it seems to be shredded chicken squeezed into a fillet shape. Again odd. The burger is small too. Tasty enough. Salad however look tired with edges starting to brown on some pieces. Chips were disappointing - a bit cold. 3 stars a fair summary.

This place was the first red rooster that has gave us fresh chips and chicken in ages the communication from the staff manger to the workers was fantastic as we dined in we could hear .... he was making sure orders were going out correctly and it seemed to run smooth more take away food stores need manages like this keep up the good work ..

I haven't been to Red Rooster for years so I wasn't sure what to expect. We ordered whole chicken for takeaway. The place was clean and very quiet for a weekend. Staff was polite and our order was ready quite quickly. The chicken itself is flavourful, more so compared to Woolies roast chicken. It is more expensive but not by much.
