La Madeleine

My aunt and I met for dinner tonight to celebrate Christmas. As soon as we walked in the door, we both said - it's freezing 🥶 in here!! We asked if they could turn it up or turn the ac off. Several other people asked the same thing. An employee told us that corporate controls the temperature. That seems crazy, please fix that. But the employees were SO nice and knowledgeable. We both had quiche lorraine, it was delicious!! I also wanted to let you know that Jacob went out of his way to help us. As we were checking out, he said it doesn't cost anything to be kind. He's SO right 😊 He made our visit much more enjoyable!!

I love La Madeline and frequent their locations. However my most recent experience wasn’t so pleasant. I placed my order at the counter, took my seat, and waited. My entries were delivered, however they forgot to bring the soups I had ordered. I went to the counter to request a refund which weren’t so kind about. They barely even acknowledged what had happened but I got my refund and continued on.

I really like how they have native French speaking employees at the restaurant. It adds to the authenticity of the culture. Don't be afraid to practice your french with them. They are super nice and will actually teach you how to order in French. In a few visits, you'll feel like a pro! The food is really good, although expensive (just like France), but it's worth a try, even if it's just once. If you're a coffee drinker, definitely get the French coffee. It's incredible!!

!Went there on a fine day for lunch, I knew this place for long time but don’t recall going here. The place is really good and nice. There are around 20 tables inside with clean atmosphere and about 5 tables outside. It might take like 10mins in line for your order and another 15mins till the table. They also got few all day breakfast items, and some yummy bakery items. I will come here again to check more options. Below are the items I tried and their ratings. Chicken Caesar Sandwich - 9/10, French Onion Soup - 9/10

La Madeleine is located in the Perimeter Mall in Atlanta, it’s corner location is ideal. It’s a quaint French cafe / restaurant , it is French cuisine in Atlanta. On entry I was greeted by the servers who were very friendly, my eyes locked onto the cakes, what a selection they was all appealing, I narrowed it down to 3 cakes, excessive yes however my cake senses said delish so excessive chill. Along with a cup of cappuccino the cake was complete. The decor was perfect with lots of French touches , pictures and paintings, on the way to the restroom there was French lesson on numbers on the speakers, there is even a fireplace for the lovely fireplace eating experience. The menu is a delight, so many French delicacies, the choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner was large there is also the sauces and other branded items to take home. The service would have been 5 stars, the greeting servers were credit to the establishment, I had finished my cake moment, as a person I usually put my plates together and place them to the counter thus saving someone coming to clear, I was rebuffed in not a nice tone this soured the whole experience, it was not necessary, my thoughts this particular person needs additional training in customer care

I was really excited to try this place for the 1st time. The service was bad. As soon as I walked in I wasn’t greeted by anyone or acknowledge. The Servers just looked at me. Unfortunately they had a system error which caused my order to never make it to the kitchen along with several other guest. I’m a server so understand things can go wrong out of control so I was patient. Management stepped in to bring my order but showed no empathy, and also platted my food wrong when he forgot the croissant. Overall the food is a 10/10. Also the other guest were friendly and sociable atmosphere. When I left the restaurant nobody acknowledged that I was leaving. If they can fix the level of customer care, then they’ll be a great spot.
