Hop City Craft Beer & Wine

Hop City (inside Krog Street Market) is probably the best beer store in the city. This bar and store secure some extremely hard to get beer and these days that is pretty much my metric for 5 stars. A lot of breweries and especially in Georgia have upped their game. As they say a rising tide lifts all boats and the tide happens to be more lenient alcohol laws for the state. The good news is impressive finds can easily be found in local grocery stores but even this treasure can quickly fatigue the palate after repeated weekend visits. Here is where Hop City shines with their large selection and beers that are special release or hardly seen outside the physical brewery. The bar is also fun with a great variety to choose from depending on your mood and atmosphere cant be beat with all the energy in the market.

Marshawn is a great bartender. Knew his product and knew his clientele. Hop City has a great assortment of beers gathered from around the country, but they shine in offering the local brews!! I really wanted to offer words of how awful and unpleasant Marshawn was because he only reads the bad reviews, but I couldn't possibly do that to him!!! Go there a grab a pint!! Sláinte!!
