Popeye's Chicken

Passing through with a layover and came to my usual spot. This time I had a chicken biscuit which consisted of two chicken tenders in a butter biscuit. The chicken was hat and the biscuit was greasy. It fell apart before I could eat it all and wound up just eating the chicken instead. They staff were all kind and have a system where you order take a number then pay at the counter. It appeared they were moving the traffic along nicely. I have eaten here before and will eat here again. Next time I may skip on the chicken biscuit and just get the chicken.

Great fried chicken. Better than the Colonel for sure. Definitely recommend their spicy version. It's nice to eat actual food in a fast food setting. I had this at the airport and the benefit to real meat, mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy and a biscuit with butter and honey, doesn't make you feel horrible like some other food can before flying. Also chicken is a family favorite so no matter who the audience is, Popeyes will please. Their chicken sandwich is also really good. Real chicken breast and great breading. They started the craze of competition to contend with Chic-Fil-A.

I had a chicken sandwich, Mac and cheese, and a sweet tea. Food was as good if not better than any other standalone Popeyes I've been to and service was much better. It did get a little crazy but they got it all straight and it was a pleasant pre-flight meal. Watch out for that sweet tea though! It is sweeeeeeeeeeet.
