Pho 24

Great food but service is slow, due to the place being severely understaffed. It's a new restaurant but without adequate staffing they will not be able to compete. Recently we skipped a group lunch at this place because we only had an hour for lunch before going to the next meeting. That by itself was a significant loss of revenue. I am looking forward to a time when i can walk in, get my food and check out in 40 minutes or less. Until then i will only come on days when i have no time constraints 2020 update: service is much faster and portions are still huge. One thing to pay attention to is your check and tips. Not sure if it's because I come in with a group but they automatically charged me a tip of their choosing and still printed a receipt that didn't show the tip and had a line for me to give tips. Most of my colleagues ended up tipping twice today. Not right! Also prices are not competitive at all

Good Vietnamese food We ordered the grilled pork and egg/spring roll noodle salad and a Pho Tai (rare beef noodle soup). They were both delicious with fresh, fragrant herbs and flavours. I didn't like how they automatically included a gratuity when you paid your bill, but the service was fast and we thought that the prices were quite reasonable given the downtown location.

Pho 24 is close to the A-Loft where I stayed during a week in Atlanta. It gave me the opportunity to try two dinners. One vermicelli bowl and one Pho combination bowl. I also had the egg rolls. I thought the vermicelli bowl was well balanced and both the shrimp and chicken were tasteful and cooked nicely. When brought to the table basically all the items are on top of the vermicelli. It looks good but if you eat it that way, top down, the meal is unbalanced. I recommend to mix it like a salad to better appreciate the meal. The Pho bowl comes with a plate of bean sprouts, cilantro, limes and jalapeños. It has a good flavor and nice broth, but I found the meat if the vermicelli better than the Pho. The egg roll and sauce were tasty and make a great side, but note only 2 come on an order. The place seems large, dated and under utilized. If you have a large party, and maybe sometimes they do, this place can accommodate you. But it is a dated atmosphere.

My first impression was not good, as I waited about 30 minutes to even be acknowledged. I stood in a long line to get my party of 14 a table. I found out that there were only 3 servers and we needed to kill time anyways, so I was ok with it. Three of us shared an XL P15. It was the perfect size. The flavor was good and the soup hit the spot on the cold, rainy day. We also ordered Fresh Shrimp Summer Roll. I shared a Grilled Pork Ban Mi with my husband. Everything was good and the price was awesome. The servers forgot some items, but they was very nice. They also didn’t have (or couldn’t make) smoothies, which my daughter was craving, but we chose an alternate drink.

Really large portion of food if you get the x-large pho. I got the fatty brisket and tendon bowl and enjoyed it quite a lot. It came with a bunch of extra herbs and chilis to enhance the already flavorful broth. I also tried the fresh shrimp spring rolls which were done well and had one of the better sauces I've had for it.

I have been to a lot of Pho restaurants lately and they were good, but what really makes good Pho is when you test it before adding hoison sauce and siriachi to test the flavor. This had tons of flavor and passed the test with flying colors. Pho 24 also does not short change on beef. I've been to too many Pho restaurants and it has been just a bowl of broth with sprouts and that's about it. This place gives you lots of meat. I highly recommend this place along with their amazing servers. I will be back again and on this same trip this weekend. One thing to note is that gratuity is included in the bill.
