Rhodes is the best bakery to get delicious and freshly homemade petit fours, cakes, cookies, and little bakery treats. I travel up and down the east coast regularly, from Pennsylvania, North & South Carolina, New York, Tennessee, DC, Maryland and Virginia and have failed to find better petit fours and a better southern, homey feeling and vibe. That lady behind the counter knows what she's doing, and she's been doing it for a very long time. My family and I have been loyal since I've been in middle school. Her prices are fair, the establishment is clean and she sure- knows how to bake!

I had my first taste of cake from Rhodes 41 years ago when my sister got married. It was like biting into a slice of Heaven. I've never gotten anything there that wasn't delicious!

The best bakery in Atlanta. If the petit fours don't transport you to heaven, the caramel cake will. If the caramel cake doesn't, the cheese straws will. Even the gingerbread men are something about which to write home. And before Covid, the samples were ever present and generous.
As someone else pointed out, the value of property in this area may eventually drive Rhodes out, so please don't miss this iconic bakery while the chance remains. You won't regret it.

All the goodies are baked onsite! The staff are always really nice, and one of the owner-bakers even shared a tip with me about making my own frosting. Better still, they sell gingerbread cookie men year-round!

We had the best carrot cake for my daughter’s 24th birthday we’ve ever had. Moist and delicious with the creamiest, tastiest frosting. Wonderful!

Rhodes made the best cakes for my wedding! They were absolutely delicious and we're eaten so quickly I couldn't believe it. Prices were great, and staff was very helpful and straightforward.

This is the best bakery off all time. This bakery is out of this world. The cinnamon rolls are yhe brst i have ever had. The staff goes above and beyond anything Ive ever seen anywhere else. A must try once in your lifettime.

George, Johnny and Gina couldn't have been friendlier, more professional and down to earth people. This bakery is the best and there food is better than any other that I have had. We came all the way from Maryland to visit Rhodes and glad we did. Hope they are around for many more years.
