Newk's Eatery

Love this place! The food is delicious, the menu options are plentiful, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Portion size is important to me, and I always feel like I get a great "bang for my buck" at Newk's. Best of all, the staff at this location is terrific: everyone is friendly, attentive, and truly makes me feel like a valued guest. Happy to be one of their "regulars" and proud to recommend the Howell Mill Newk's to anyone & everyone!

Hubby & I visited for the first time today & were BLOWN AWAY by the delightful service & variety of delicious food! Perhaps we lucked out with timing (between lunch & dinner ~5pm) but the restaurant was clean & food ready super quick (that mac n cheese is the BOMB). Gregory was fantastic & checked on us regularly throughout our visit. We didn't expect such large portion sizes & wound up with enough left over for another full meal! We'll definitely be back & recommend this location to anyone & everyone! 💙 5 Stars & 4 Thumbs Up! ^_^

Food is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. There's a large variety of choices and combinations, and their caramel cake is amazing. I eat here regularly because not only is the food wonderful, but the service is friendly and courteous. It's the type of neighborhood establishment that comfortable, welcoming and draws me back again and again.

This is good food but sometimes you got the wrong day to eat at Newk's. Today everything was so off, my order was missing and item, when my taco salad arrived was missing the chilli. I do not recommend this item because they charge as a regular salas but this does not have enough protein. The cashier was rushing me to close my order, she even made a face on me. The manager did not choose the best words to respond when I advised him that the salad didn't have enough protein. Needless to say that I was not looking for free food or any discounted service.

It's a great little spot to check out for lunch at work. I go probably once a week at the least. Their portions are of a good size and the variety on the menu is very nice. They have healthy options and not so healthy ones - something for pretty much everyone. I'm a huge fan of their Greek salad, Caesar salad, and always happy to have one of their personal pizzas. I would say the only reason I gave it four stars is that they don't cook the chicken and steak for the salad to order. It IS grilled that day and then sliced and stored cold. Cold protein is just such a contrast to when you order salmon or shrimp and it's piping hot, fresh out of the broiler. Just the chicken and steak are cold and pre-sliced. Not a deal breaker but definitely would get more points for me if every protein work cooked to order. They also have a great variety of drinks and desserts.
