A neat wee cafe. Coffee is terrific, as is the food. I was a tourist here for breakfast, which was way better than having a hotel breakfast. Prices are very good and great table service.

Wow, what a great little find on my trip to Auckland. I will definitely be returning. I ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon ($14.5) and regular flat white ($4). The Benedict was yummy with beautiful eggs and lots of hollandaise. The coffee was perfect, and actually more like a large. The prices seemed to good to be true, but the low prices did not affect quality of food. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Great service. Cafe even gave me table service!

Come here! In a sea of overpriced cafes, this place is good and affordable. And they do All Day Breakfast, which are the three most important words of English, in my opinion.

I had beef stew from here and i think it was fairly good. Meat was soft and i quite liked its aroma. Lunch deal seems quite price-worth, so i think i am going to try next time. Coffee and teas are generally cheap like $3.

Coffee was good and not overpriced. The couple running the cafe on the Saturday when I was there were very nice and were clearly making an effort for their customers. As a vegetarian they were able to modify a dish for me, replacing an egg with a generous amount of avocado.
Return visit:
Hard to find a good value, uncomplicated, non-pretentious cafe in the CBD, as this.

Inner city gem
This is a great value option for breakfast or lunch in the inner city. We had a combo pasta and salad lunch deal and the coffee was excellent - $3 for an excellent flat white is unbeatable.
