Leaving a review after going to a different burger spot and realising just how good I had it at burger geek
Their food slaps every time. I’m gluten free and they have never gotten my order wrong. Their fries are nothing crazy but they hit the spot and you get a nice amount

Great burgers and sides. Very tasty and the buns are fresh and delicious. Jalapeno poppers are very good

Second visit to this place and ordered the Swanson burger.
One thing I love about the burger is the patty- the heart of every burger. It's made of angus-wagyu cuts blend (at least it's what they claim) which is finely smashed, pressed, and grilled to perfection, resulting in a crisp, juicy, and very beefy patty. 9.5/10
The bacon was also a wonder. It's juicy, tender, and cooked very well. I usually go for crispy bacon, but I don't think a crispy bacon fits this type of burger.
The burger can also come with fries. They're shoestrings with rosemary, salt, and aioli dipping. The fries are crunchy, a bit too dry for my liking but still perfect nonetheless.
Overall, I don't think that 9.5/10 is too much, especially for a 15.9 NZD burger. Hell, it may as well be a 10/10 if I can't find any better burgers.

Best burgers in town but get the aioli on the side to avoid the soggy bun. GF options. Ditch the seasoning on the fries if you prefer them plain.

Great burger, you get what you pay for. But for me the best thing about it are sides. The fries are by far the best one I had and the fried cheese stuffed jalapenos were sooooo good. We ordered couple of times and always happy with our choice. All the burgers were awesome. Cheers guys

The staff at the restaurant were friendly, and despite the burger not being my preferred style (as I typically prefer juicy meat over smashed patties), it was still delicious.
