Diehl's Bakery

Wow this is a well hidden gem. The food isn't cheap, because it's 100% real and quality. For the quality and rareness it is cheap. This could be a bakery delicacies store. The atmosphere is outstanding, my first visit I almost had tears in my eyes from the positive surprise. If you want to eat real bread, look no further. I am a born German and this bakery would be a great bakery in Germany, here it's like a dream.

An amazing bakery 🤩 I have been meaning to go to Diehl's for a long time now, and they did not disappoint! When I got there at 8, they had a short line to get in (4-5 people). When I got to the front of the time, the man serving me at the counter was extremely nice and had a big smile. The food was also very good (More details below). I stopped by before heading into work so I got cabinet food only, but I saw that they had a plethora of different loaves as well. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back again! Food I got: Pretzels- I had both the the normal and sweet one. The sweet one was made of a flakey dough and a sweet party dough intertwined together giving you a interesting texture. The normal pretzel was fluffy and was seasoned perfectly with a bit of salt. Apple Strudel - Very nice. The pastry was filled to the top with the apple filling. It was not super sweet and it was quite large. Sausage Roll - WOW. This is one of the best sausage rolls I have ever had. The sausage filling was nicely seasoned. It was balanced, juicy and had a very slight kick to it. The pastry was light and flakey and complimented the sausage filling very nicely.

This place is AMAZING. Meinolf was so friendly and helpful when we had questions. The sourdough bread is perfect and they have traditional German pretzels that were still warm when served! We also had a danish pastry that was very delicious. I think everything from here probably tastes incredible. I’ve never been so happy to have visited a bakery! I will be returning here as often as possible!

This German bakery is a hidden gem! Don't be put off by the parking or the unassuming shop front. The inside has recently been renovated by the new owners and they make everything from scratch, specialising in authentic German artisan baking. Growing up in Germany, I can assure you this is the real deal. 😊
