Pearson's Smokehouse Bbq

The Pearson’s brought their BBQ Truck to a recent gathering at Tim’s Harley Davidson, Augusta, GA. I had the bbq sandwich and home cut potatoes. A few minutes to get it but it was made fresh and delicious!! Well worth the 5-8 minutes and the sweet lady even brought it to me. The staff was pleasant and assisted us with our order. The truck was clean inside and out and very well kept. That was the first time I had their BBQ but it is the best that I’ve had ever!!

Where do I start! My experience was wonderful I've never seen nor had such great seasoned food from any bbq restaurant like this! The Mac and Cheese Is actually baked like home style cooking. Me and my family will definitely be regulars here! The bbq sauce is amazing. The full slab of rib plates couldn't even be closed it was so packed. The ribs had a good smoked grilled taste to them. Honestly I wouldn't hesitate to try anything on the menu. My expectations were exceeded :)

I called and the owner told me it would take over an hour and 30 mins to receive my order on Fort Gordon because he only had one driver running deliveries. I thought that was a little strange at first, but i decied to wait because everyone on base was bragging about how great the food was on base and that it would be worth the wait. It took about an hour a 45 mins. Once i tasted the food. Hey Man listen, they have the best darn BBQ you'll every eat and I was stationed in Texas for 4yrs. They'll be in a brick and mortar soon...

First off the restaurant is located in a business plaza. So no food is cooked inside the restaurant. When asked the owner stated, "Stated he cooks as needed." So nothing was fresh. None of the meat had any smoke flavor to it. Second it's a buffet, but you order from a menu and a server brings out your food. Third thing, the Mac & Cheese looked and tasted as if it came straight out of a box. The potato salad tasted like the bucket you get from Sam's Club. For the price this place was a total disappointment. I love to support locally owned businesses, but I can not support this establishment. "Best BBQ in Town" it's not here. Try Ray's Smokehouse on Deans Bridge Rd.

I just tried the Ribs. The food here is awesome!. The ribs are falling off the bones. My friend tried the pulled chicken and pork over rice combo and could not believe how good it was. The hash and rice was the best my dad had ever had. Come out and try the Pearson's. I must admit the place is a bit small and hidden but it is worth the find...

The lack of service from this place is a disaster. We placed an order worth over $50 which never arrived. When asking where our food was we were told repeatedly that it was 30-45 minutes away until they stopped answering our calls whatsoever. Other people have faced this same problem. What a wonderful way to serve the Army personnel on Fort Gordon.
