This place is definitely a southern comfort- southern hospitality restaurant. This was the first restaurant i visited my first day in Augusta and it left a beautiful reminder to go back. I wish i were exaggerating about this but its not too bold and in your face or not too lifeless that you forget it. Great spot, great people.

Excellent venue in downtown Augusta for Weddings. A nice chapel and reception venue. Their food is always good!! The staff is easy to work with. LSWeddingDJ's have done a number of weddings at this venue. We can light the venue with almost any color you desire.

I went there for lunch and I was amazingly surprised by the flavor, the warm welcome of our server and the fairly quick service. I had half sweet and half unsweetened tea as my drink, by far the best tea I have ever tried while in Georgia. The mac and cheese was on point and the gravy delicious. I thought it was a small plate but as I ate it got fully pleased and more than satisfied with the amount.

The food was decent but the service was slow. My wife think its delicious and iconic, she had fried pork chop and good soups, but the my hamburger wasn't too special. We would come back though for the southern comfort food, and you should try them if you get the chance.

Great experience with the catering menu. Served 75 people. The hamburger steak and pork chops were cooked and seasoned perfectly, the gravy went FAST, and the squash casserole was popular.

Classic southern meat and three... veggies are in great pot liquor that ranges from porky goodness to tomato sweetness. Don't expect refined or overly chef like interpretations of southern cooking... this is Sunday afternoon cooking served everyday. If you are visiting from out of town, go to the canal museum and do lunch at Fat Man's with the locals and feel a little southern hospitality.

Son used them for his wedding. Was very disappointed. The lady that was over the catering there was a major tail. Dont waist your money. If the bride would of seen what was going on it would have ruined her big day.
