Stiles Switch Bbq And Brew

I absolutely love this place! I will keep coming back again and again. The food was really good, bordering great. The ribs were excellent, they were juicy and meaty. One of the best ribs I had on my 8 restaurant Texas BBQ tour. The brisket is solid, seasoned well just a tad bit on the dry side but still tender. The chicken was crazy good, super tender, juicy and had great smoke flavor. Only suggestion is the chicken could have used a tiny bit more seasoning. The sausage was the perfect flavor and texture, the only suggestion would be to crisp the skin more for the perfect snap. The sides were great. Some of the best fries I've ever eaten, the corn casserole was good, also the pickles and onions were delicious as well. Aside from the food the staff was incredibly nice and friendly. They answered questions,gave samples and were patient while serving everyone. Bonus the line moved ridiculously fast compared to Franklins maybe a 10-15 min wait max at lunchtime. I will be back. This is a must any time I'm in Austin

First thing that caught my attention is that the staff are super nice and friendly. You enter, get in the lineup, pay, take your cutlery and find a table to sit and enjoy your food. You can choose from the sandwich menu or meat plates (2sides included). Meat options are smoked chicken, turkey breast, pork ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket and sausage. Or, you can order beef ribs, period! I ordered a 2-meat platter of beef brisket and sausage with the sides of coleslaw and homemade fries. Brisket was tender and juicy and very delicious. And as they say themselves, it’s the homemade sausage of the month!

I recently had the three meat plate at Stiles Switch, and I was very impressed with the brisket, ribs, and turkey. Plus a link of their regular smoked sausage. The brisket was perfectly cooked, with a nice smoke ring and a tender, juicy texture. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, with a flavorful rub and a nice crust. The turkey was moist and flavorful, with a crispy skin. The sausage was a bit peppery (but I like pepper so it's non-issue for me, but if you are not a fan of pepper, beware) I also ordered the tres leches cake, which was unfortunately too sweet for my taste. I would recommend the tres leches cake to someone who likes very/overly sweet desserts, but it was not my cup of tea. Their beer and cider selection was also pretty great. Overall, a very good experience. The staff was very fast and friendly. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fun and lively. I would definitely recommend Stiles Switch to anyone looking for a great barbecue spot for a family dinner.

I’ve been going to Stiles Switch for years, but never wrote a review. Stopped by today and got their Wednesday special - the smoked Prime Rib. This is an outstanding dish and comes with a side. I grabbed the Mac and cheese. I love this dish because the prime rib is cooked perfectly and has a ton of flavor. There is a nice bark on the outer layer. Will definitely be back to get this again.

First of all, the people were super sweet and talked to us about what their best selling meats. We obviously went with a little bit of everything. Beef rib, pork rib, brisket, macaroni, potatoes salad, and cucumber salad. Everything was delicious and had the right amount of flavor. It was worth every dollar paid. It was a very spacious place as well, and when we went in, there was plenty of space to sit.

Everything you've heard about the place is true! Just getting nearby the building will make your mouth water. I can see how addictive this place can become. The service is really good. Feels like the employees genuinely enjoy their jobs which makes the food taste even better. Highly recommend the cornbread casserole and Brussels as sides! Then again, there's prob not a side that I would NOT recommend! Vegetarians just stay away. This place is not for you.

So I wouldn’t say we are the “experts” in BBQ but we love us some good BBQ. Stiles has a great atmosphere for sure and it’s very welcoming. Staff was great and helpful especially since this was our first visit. So the food you might ask? It was great, their fries were top notch with just the right amount of seasoning, we both opted for the pulled pork sandwich. The pork cooked to perfection although I was slightly disappointed in the BBQ sauce but that’s just a matter of personal taste as far as we like our sauce a little thicker. But the taste was great! The mac and cheese wasn’t bad either but just not a major wow factor. Overall great place to grab a bite to eat and a plus is it’s kid friendly!
