We held our company Christmas party at Freda’s this year. The environment was excellent for socializing. The meal was delish and the service rocked! Our waitstaff was excellent and on top of everything from the moment we arrived (early). We had one small glitch and management addressed and offered an immediate resolution. A wonderful evening! Thank you Freda’s!! Merry Christmas!

This is Austin’s best kept secret! The staff is amazing! Freda is amazing! The food is exceptional!
I went to Freda’s for my birthday this year for the first time and thought that it would be a wonderful spot to celebrate my parents surprise 70th birthday and needless to say it was! They provided a wonderful buffet and served our 50 guest party like a breeze! I can’t say enough about this place. Thank you Freda’s for always giving us a great experience!

Great spot for Sunday brunch and date night dinner. Service is wonderful and attentive without being intrusive on date nights. Food is always great, we love the trout, risotto, sea bass, steak, just everything had always been seasoned well and cooked perfectly.
Brunch is always lively and fun. Never had a bad experience at Freda’s and would recommend to anyone to give this local restaurant a try. So glad y’all are staying open and moving not too far away from where you are now. Having such a upscale place to dine that isn’t so far into Austin is awesome.

We visited Freda’s for the first time today for lunch and the lunch menu is fantastic! We tried the crab cake, salmon Florentine and the fish tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious and very fresh. I can’t wait to go back. It’s truly a hidden gem.

We have used the private enclosed room for several family parties. Food and service are always good. They can allow for dietary needs such as gluten-free options. We bring our own cakes and are sufficiently sequestered from the rest of the clientel that we are comfortably uninhibited. Salmon was well prepared and not fishy. Try the cucumber martini. The art can be interesting.

Possibly the best dine in restaurant in Austin. The atmosphere was well lit and intimate. The food was phenomenal. They start you off with sweet cornbread. It was great, especially with the butter they provide. I tried the Trout Alexander. Everything was cooked to perfection and came out in a timely manner. My server Rob was amazing. I will definitely be back.

We loved our experience at Freda's! We went for a very early dinner (so we could bring our newborn) to celebrate my husband's birthday. From the start, they wished him a happy birthday, were so friendly asking about our baby girl, and did an excellent job telling us about the menu. Freda herself even came by the table to say hello - our waitress told us Freda comes in every single day.
Our food was also incredible. We had the shrimp Diablo appetizer with their housemade cornbread, and I ordered the sea scallops while my husband ordered the NY strip and shrimp. We are already talking about when to go back!

My wife and I ate here for our Anniversary. We made reservations. The service we had from Rob was wonderful. The food was amazing. It was truly a wonderful evening!
