So, for some reason the lady working at the moment will not take breakfast orders even though it says the following on the menu. She went to the trouble of cancelling an online order, and even when I called at 11:21 am saying it was after 11

The food was absolutely stellar, even after a 20 min drive back to our hotel! The price was right for the amount of food you get and the staff were all super friendly! The sopapillas were DELICIOUS and you won't regret getting one... Or three.

Been coming here since I was a student at McCallum and I’ve never been disappointed! Margs are always good, food is always satisfying, and the staff is always so attentive and nice. Also, it’s never too busy, which is always a plus nowadays. Quintessential local neighborhood TexMex. Never leave, Cheko’s!

Always a pleasure eating here. Lots of menu options. We love the mini tacos and the asada plate best. Excellent salsa and chips. Great coffee. Love the staff. The owner and his wife are wonderful!

Good experience, nice atmosphere, our waiter was nice, food came out quickly and bathrooms where clean. My lengua tacos were sooooooo GOOD, my husband's torta was good but had to much crema on it.. Def will be going again

Chekos Méxican Restaurant & Bar exceeded my expectations! The unassuming ambiance perfectly complemented the mouthwatering Mexican classics and seafood dishes. The breakfast options were a delightful surprise, and the drinks, especially the margaritas, were top-notch. Already planning my next visit! 🌮🍹👏

My favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Austin. Been going here for years. The staff are so friendly and the food is incredible every time. Ask for mole sauce on the enchiladas. It’s not on the menu but it’s fabulous.

This Tex-Mex food is the real deal, folks! Incredibley delicious. The green sauce is to die for! Will definitely be returning! The staff called me to let me know they were out of an item I ordered, and that I could substitute for another item. (My order was thru Grubhub). Please stop by & support this great local business.
