Wings To Go

Maybe one of the best wings places in SW Austin, Wings To Go is easy to overlook but well worth the time to find it. I've been driving past this corner for YEARS, and have been almost next door to this place many times in the neighboring businesses. But today, totally on a whim, I peeled in and got some boneless wings to check it out. WOW!!! Most places "boneless wings" are just chicken fingers that have been cut short, but I'm dead sure these were actually BONELESS WINGS, and they were excellent. There wasn't much of a wait, which is also a nice change from most wings places (B-DUBZ will burn at least an hour of your life waiting for the simplest of orders.) If you haven't been, I suggest you check it out sometime. The staff were pleasant and attentive, almost like CFA only with the obvious benefit of actual WINGS and a sports bar atmosphere. Cool little place, will definitely be back soon.

Came to Wings To Go for the first time and had the best bone in mild wings EVER! The service was amazing, the staff was very patient and tentative to our needs. We finished our meal with a unique choice of dessert: FRIED cheesecake. Would highly recommend both the wings & the cheesecake. Can’t wait to come back here!

Stopped in for the first time last night, and apparently it's under new management as of last week. They're also apparently going through a remodel because of this as well. Just did an 8 piece traditional and thought they were quite large and good. Hope they remodel quickly and change up the floors soon as I liked the place a lot.

Overall a very lovely experience! Service was 5 star, food was 4 star. We ordered wings over the phone and the gentleman was patient and read the menu to us and was very nice. The wings were ready very quickly and the restaurant was extremely clean! The wings were good, not very spicy. There were more drumsticks than wings, which we usually prefer wings and the celery wasn’t ultra-fresh, but not the end of the world. Would go back again, would recommend!

This is my favorite place to get hot wings in Austin. They serve beer but not hard liquor drinks. I think most clientele get orders to go, but it's a nice, I think intimate, local place to get wings, shrimp, catfish etc.. their waffle fries are spectacular. Nothing fancy or new just a solid, consistent take on one of this classic American dish. It's always clean and many screens to watch NFL Sunday ticket etc.

Excellent food, taste, and flavor. I was most impressed by their buffalo garlic wings and waffle cut fries. It’s also important to mention the superb management and service. The gentleman handling our orders was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about the customer experience. Also a great place to get reasonably priced beer and watch sports!
