Papa Johns Pizza

Really nice location with friendly staff. Unfortunately, the short staffing issues have really affected this location. Great food but there will probably be a wait for your carry out. I went the evening of February 2, 2022 just before the winter storm hit. So my review is based on this one day. May be different during different times. All in all I will be back and encourage folks to be kind and so some grace of they are backed up.

I ordered my saved Go-To pizza from Papa John's that I named "The Rudeboy"...! I have it saved because I order this style of pizza and choice of toppings more than any other. "The Rudeboy" is a Deep Dish pizza made with orginal red sauce (not Deep Dish sauce), Chicken & Pepperoni all baked Well Done to get a extra crispy crust. The store that I order from is located in South Austin between William Cannon & Slaughter on Thaxton Road. Literally every time I order from this location the pizza is not only made to perfection with fresh ingredients and baking, but is made fast and delivered on time if not earlier than estimated. I also always add a custom instruction for the delivery driver to call ahead when leaving the store. Every time it is followed through on allowing me to walk outside and meet the driver. My roommate is training a K-9 German Shepherd for self-defense and protection purposes so the phone call in advance is greatly appreciated.

WORST STORE TO ORDER FROM!!!! I have tried to order for delivery over 5 times over the past few months and Every single time they say they are not doing delivery orders. And it's not even a current time that I call. I have called as early as 7pm and they say there not doing delivery. I just got off the phone with the location and they refused to give me any type of district manager or corporate number. I don't understand what the point of having the store open until 1am for delivery if delivery is NEVER AVAILABLE.
