Stu's Donuts

Our party ordered bacon and egg biscuits and sausage patties and a dozen cinnamon sugar donuts. Everything was delicious. The breakfast food was tasty and reasonably priced. The donuts were a little more pricey but were still warm when served. They must have been cooked to order. Thumbs up. Service was a little slow but it didn't bother us because we got our coffee right away. Only two hard working servers did all the table service, bar tending, and cashiering. This was our first visit to Stu's. We will be back.

Living here seasonally for the summer it’s been hard to find a spot that isn’t slammed with tourists with a long wait for food. I was pleasantly surprised on a Sunday morning that Stu’s had plenty of table availability and food other than donuts. I got two eggs, cheddar cheese, 3 slices of bacon for a whopping $5! Where else can you get that on this island? Nowhere! It was delicious, fresh, and came out very quick. No boxed eggs here! Fun fact - Stu’s Donuts is in the same building as Ketch however they are separate owners. Wish I took a photo of my food but it was so delicious that I forgot to! Highly recommend this place for breakfast! 😬😃

Amazing place. The burrito is a must have! Didn't have a chance to take a picture because we demolished them. And make sure you get atleast one donut. The key lime or the strawberry with fruit loops or the maple bacon.....amazing! And the employees said "welcome y'all" when we came in, if that doesn't make you happy then I don't know what will.

Best breakfast on the island!! Delicious freshly made breakfast biscuits and donuts. We ate at many restaurants on our vacation and Stu's tops them all by delivering not only delicious fresh food but also a friendly, welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. We ate here twice and we are sad we have to leave for home because we want to go back again! We found service to be lacking at many of the other restaurants we tried (even if they had good food, their staff seemed to be standoffish or even just plain old rude), but everyone at Stu's was genuinely friendly. And if all that wasn't enough, they are very affordable as well. Highly recommend!!

Excellent service, greeted by Steve(Stu) the owner, and he was right, he has the best breakfast in town. I had pork roll and husband had country ham biscuit. All homemade, very personable staff, even though we we came in at closing, we were welcomed like family. We were told not to worry to take our time by owners wife. We couldn't leave without taking home 1/2 dozen of Stu's speciality donuts and my husband took home some ham biscuits. Cute place,staff loves what they do. They are Stu's Donuts in am, and a seafood restaurant in evenings, I imagine that is awesome too. We are locals as in manteo and I manage a business that has locations in Kitty hawk and Buxton. We will be back and we will highly recommend.
