Rocket Shop Cafe

I came in today for the first time. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. They also have a bar inside. I ordered the rocket burger which includes mushroom and avocado. It was really good. The restaurant is good size with lots of tables and seating they also have a small banquet room. They have a lot of memorabilia of NASCAR and racing. The east side windows all face the air stripWhere you can watch planes coming or going.

Friendly service and good food, however I only gave it 4stars because, like most places these days, they do not have any pork substitutes. Not everyone eats pig so why is it the only meat option for breakfast? Even the gravy has pork in it... they do have steak and eggs and it was delicious but offering a turkey bacon/sausage/ham substitute would open up the menu for those that don’t want to eat the most toxic meat on the planet.

Great pitstop. Great food, love the omelets and the service is top notch. I usually stop here on my way to other places but its always very consistent and an easy stop on the way to where ever Im going. Parking- Plenty of parking. Groups- Great for groups. Airport- its on a small air strip and there often are really cool planes there. Again there is plenty of parking, I have been here with groups of 20 or more and if you call a head they can set up a table for you. The food quality is good and very affordable. I highly recommend this place for anyone hungry and passing through.

I had never been here and had heard and read so many good things. Today was finally the day I go.....I go am greeted by the older server lady(not my server). Find our seats. We get our menus and drink orders, everything was pretty good up until we get our food. I ordered an extra side of gravy, which isn't a big deal, just ask the girl for it. Well I can't because she is nowhere to be found. I start eating, still no server(younger girl) I need extra napkins. I have to ask the other server for them. My cup sat empty for atleast 10 minutes. My husband had to get up to ask for a refill. A to go box and the check. She was so unattentive to us. Now if it was busy that would have been a legitimate reason but it wasn't busy to where she couldn't ask how my food was or if I needed a refill. It's sad to give this place a bad review but the face of your business what I have to go off of. My husband is not the confrontational type and asked me not to say anything so i compromised and wrote a review. Sorry rocket shop but i won't be back to give it another try which is really sad because i loved your chicken enchiladas soup!
