Starbucks

So I went to Starbucks this morning excited to try this peach drink. And when I get my order it's more like an ice cup with a little bit of peach green tea lemonade. 🤦🏻‍♀️ (this was after I drank it, all the ice in the cup) next time I better make sure to ask for light ice since they go overboard with it. And the reason I gave 2 stars was because the drink was actually good, just wish I had more of it in my cup instead of a few drinks worth.

I ordered my drink and was waiting patiently. Over ten minutes passed by and people who ordered after me we getting their drinks. I neutrally said "excuse me" and asked about my drink. This barista said "oh well, we ran out of tea and are making more." Now, it's basic customer service that if there is a problem, you tell the customer. If not, this exact misunderstanding happens because the customer is left in the dark. So I said, "Oh I'm sorry, nobody told me and I've been waiting over 10 minutes." Then the barista thought they were going to give me an attitude and said "Well everyone is waiting." They made the mistake of assuming I don't have a loud voice, so I very loudly said "DON'T BE RUDE." I've worked in customer service for a number of years. All the barista had to do was apologize for the miscommunication. I understand they are busy, I understand some days are hard. However, if you resort to giving attitude to customers, you're going to get it right back.

Drew helped my partner and I on our most recent trip here. He's just the barista you hope to get when you go to Starbucks: friendly, prompt, and informative. Drew made a suggestion for my partner's drink that completely complimented and elevated his original order. He not only made us happy we went to Starbucks in the first place, but has us looking forward to coming back. Thanks Drew!
