Grizzly's Wood-fired Grill & Bar

First time here and we were very pleased! I had the perfect peach Marg and it was delish. I HAD to try to wood fire chicken and MAN IT WAS SO GOOD. I felt like a caveman who just discovered food. I demolished it (photo for reference). Our servers name was Erin and I love her. I'm also a server and you can tell she's enjoying her job. Give her a raise immediately. Will be back for sure!!

We ate here on consecutive days while on vacation. In both instances, the food was beyond delicious. The service was great as well. I’m not sure what they do, but everything we ate was so damn good and fresh. Our 1 year old loved what he ate too. It’s a great atmosphere to grab a beer or two with friends, or have a meal with your family. I am only disappointed at the fact that there aren’t not more locations in the Twin Cities Metro.

First visit with party of four. Had great service. Good craft beer selection. Great Old Fashion. Recommend the Texas (pulled pork) egg rolls. Really good sweet/spicy mustard sauce. The wood-fire grilled chicken was moist and flavorfully delicious. The Burnt Ends on smashed potatoes were exceptional. Will definitely be back for seconds.

My family came at 8:20pm and it pretty dead. Hostess sat us at our table. Waited about 10 minutes without a server before asking the hostess for a server. Considered leaving after another guest had to ask the hostess for a server as well. That customer was definitely seated before us. Floor was filthy. Napkins and food under the tables everywhere I looked. Ribs and wings were blah, fries were over salted, steak meat was tough and greasy. Walleye tacos were pretty good. My kids were never offered a refill on the sodas. Asked for the check and waited another 5-10 minutes for the server to come back to run my card. We were the last guests in the place. I expected the server to be all over us. I can’t understand how this place averages a 4 star review. Poor service…average to poor food for specializing is smoked meat and rotisserie….not clean

The staff here was phenomenal. The food and drink was lackluster. I had the brisket Mac and cheese, and my opposite the walleye. She was drinking the Moscow mule and myself whiskey. We had 2 drinks each. The Mac and cheese was a good base and I did enjoy it. The brisket strips that came on top were laughable. For a place that claims to be a smokehouse i was not impressed. I expected much better. The deep fried fish was much better than the brisket. Strange I thought for a smokehouse. Based on the value and quality I don't believe I will return here given the choice.

Highly disappointed. Never had a bad experience here. The 17.99 steak sandwich was hardly any steak, tasted terrible. My fiance got a long island and it was warm. My daughter got chicken strips and they were about 3 shades darker than I've ever seen chicken strips. She took one bite and spit it out and said it was icky. Talked to the server about the experience and she had nothing to say about any of it. Won't be going back. Situation wasn't handled professionally at all.
