Kokiyo Teriyaki Express

We came here for the first time this evening right before they closed and the incredibly kind owner told me he would love to serve me but they were almost out of things like white rice and a couple of other items. I gladly let him substitute noodles for one of the dishes that we took home. Noodles with beef teriyaki with onion was really great. And we have the rice with the spicy pork. Straight up this is among the best teriyaki I've had in oregon. Everything is obviously made in house, and they don't use boneless skinless flavorless meats. Nor do they cover everything in too much sugar. The pork can be for both tender fatty cuts that have been cooked perfectly and marinated well. All of the flavors were balanced. And to think we got the very end of the rice for the day and it was still great, no hard edges and not dried out at all. It was a 10 out of 10 and a very good value to boot. This will become a regular in our rotation. Clean place and very friendly people!

This place is amazing. Fiancé and I were both hungry and craving some high quality Teriyaki today - new to the area and saw that this place was rated highly so we decided to try it out! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Service was friendly, food was hot and delicious, and the packaging was sustainable. I'm a pescatarian and was able to order delicious food no problem. Try the shrimp skewer! It comes with little pineapple chunks and is sooo good. Thank you, Kokiyo! 🥰
