Captain D's

As a previous employee to this establishment, the food may be great but what goes on behind the scenes is not. The management treat the team like garbage, always understaffed, and the GM when I worked there was horrible. The starting wages were lied about and apparently full time means 12 hour weeks as an adult with bills to pay. Could not recommend this place to anyone. They need better management, better training, and a GM that won’t gossip about their employees behind their back. (And yes Erin, we all know what you’re saying. Employees talk).

The date was May 12th 2022 I pulled in approximately 6:15 and p.m. to travel through the drive-thru and place an order I paid for my order at 709 p.m. then with a free conversation with the cashier I proceeded to leave the drive-thru now it's 7:15 p.m. the next day I wondered where a tank of fuel went I just filled up for the mileage that I put on the car just didn't make any sense I've lost a quarter of tank has someone been stealing from me once I began talking about it with a friend of mine I realized that I had waited an hour there in line at Captain D's in Bedford Indiana for approximately an hour. Anyway an hour in line a quarter tank of fuel at the prices of gas these days , 4 dollars and 29 cents a gallon, what do you think........

Always reliable! Must have the butterflied shrimp from here. I like the southern style fish as well. The hushpuppies have what looks like real onion in it also a plus for me. We always get food to go and it's still hot when we get home (about a ten minute drive). People working here are friendly. Only negative is with some of the side options being a little bland but find the ones you like and stick with them. I like the coleslaw which is crunchy, mac-n-cheese and broccoli.

My 80 year old mother tells me that she ordered at the counter, then watched them serve the 6 people that came in after her before ever bringing out her food. And she overheard one of the long time managers telling the workers to take care of the other people first because they had a big order. Shame on you.
