Bad Boyz Bistro

Our burgers today come from nearby Bedford from Bad Boyz Bistro of Bedford home of the Terminstor burger challenge. We were not going to even try the challenge that includes a giant stack of 4 of their famous burgers, 2lbs of fries and a 40oz drink. Instead we both got their 8oz themed burgers. The little lady (aka Dana) got the All Summer Long burger with "Field greens, combo mushrooms, Swiss cheese, whole grain mustard/mayo sauce, potato roll" which she devoured. I got the Paradise City burger which had "8 oz. burger served with bacon, pork BBQ, Cheddar, onion rings, lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, potato roll" mine was on point from top to bottom. We both totally enjoyed our burgers and if driving near Bedford, it's definitely a recommend! The only minus is I guess becoming a pet peeve if mine: if your going to ask doneness, cook to the doneness. time and time again I when asked I say medium and get no pink or red at all. It's just a minor thing and I think mist cooks are afraid to serve a burger raw and there's not a great way to check internal doneness so they take it a set time rather than a feel like a steak. regardless, we loved BBB in Bedford PA.

What the sandwiches lacked in seasonings, the fries and pretzels made up for in salt. Pushing past the ever-present scent of damp basement, we were able to enjoy our drinks. Menu had so much potential, but really lacked any flavor. One of our party’s burger came out without the egg on it, which was fine and we said to forget about it, no big deal. The poor server came out later and said that the kitchen forced her to bring out the egg on a plate. It was black. Not just from pepper. You can never be sure how often grills are cleaned… but when an over easy egg is black.. it wasn’t lately.

This was our first time visiting Bad Boyz Bistro while passing through Bedford. We both had the Steel Curtain salad one with chicken and one with steak. They were both delicious and filling. The staff was great as well. They were talkative and in a great mood. We will definitely swing in next time we are in the area.

A friend and I went here for some drinks and dinner. I have recently turned 21 and wanted to have my first few drinks at a nice restaurant. We debated here or Jean Bonnet, regrettably we chose here. We arrived at 6:15 on a Tuesday, they were moderately busy and it didn't take long to be seated but the attitude of the hostess was rude. She slammed menu's around and even shoved passed me. Assuming she was just tired from work we ignore it and try and enjoy our time out. They ignored us for almost 10-20 minutes, then we ordered everything on the servers first go around. We order something from the bar, and our food, it took him another 10 to bring out our waters and told us the drinks were being made. It was now 7, at 7:20 he brings my friend out his drink from the bar and then proceeded to ask me what I ordered after telling us 30 minutes to 40 minutes prior that he put in the order. After returning with the wrong appetizers we kindly asked for our check and refused the drink it took an hour to serve. We were not the only table to get up and leave after being ignored. If youre debating going here or somewhere else...go somewhere else
