Tokyo Japanese Restaurant

It was awesome. It was my 1st visit to a Japanese restaurant in Seattle. It gives a wibe of traditional Japanese look. Food was good. I ordered rolls with Seafood. It was tranquil presentation and good taste. Waitress figured out I am not a typical Japanese restaurant visitor, helped me identifying the menu items. Nice!!

Did a takeout for the Yakisoba and Gyoza meal. Arrived to pickup only to be waiting +15 min plus for anyone to assist. Felt like everyone there avoided the front desk to service anyone. Got home and well.. the chicken was very dry/hard, the Gyoza was barely cooked with the sauce missing some ingredients. The Yakisoba noodles themselves tasted kind of off like as if they were old or something, better to put to the side then risk food poisoning. I gone here a couple times in the past and it's never been this terrible, I don't know if it's just new people the before or new management but I simply can't recommend this place which is a shame cause I used to suggest this place to friends.

Felt rushed to get out. Came here with a friend and was rushed to get our orders twice within mins of sitting down. I was taking my time to look through the menu but didn't even get all the way through yet. Was told that they wanted our order soon because they were close to closing. We got there 1.5 hrs before closing but thought - ok maybe Google hrs were wrong. Made my order but they were out of stock so the waiter then rushed me to order something else. Seriously, he acted like they were closing within 30 mins or something. So my food comes and it's tasteless or just deep fried oil flavor. Dipping sauce didn't help either and this was true for my friend as well. The miso soup had the slightest hint of bleach smell which makes me think the bowl had prob just gone through a strong bleach solution but don't think that'll affect my health so drank it? I'm not quite sure what was the cause but something made me very thirsty and a full 2 cups of water wasn't enough. As we were eating, they continued to accept customers which was confusing since they tried to rush us out at 1.5 hrs. We finished the meal with more than 30 mins before closing. Anyways, if they felt the need to rush us through the meal so much why not just tell us this when we walked in?? We would've gone elsewhere. Overall a disappointment in food and service, will not be back.
