Little Ting's Dumplings

5 stars for the food. Incredibly good, and very authentic dumplings and baozi. 1 star for cleanliness and service. I feel bad for the owners, because I think they're trying, but they just don't understand some basic things about running a restaurant. Walking through the entrance, the first thing one sees is a cluttered corner of boxes and random piles. The bathrooms are disgusting. I don't think the men's bathroom has ever been cleaned. The floor is wet with stale urine. As a key indicator of an owner's attention to general sanitation and the customer experience, this is a major fail. The server is kind, but young and clueless - as when serving spoons and side plates are required, or when clearing a table, the table must be thoroughly wiped clean, not just dabbed with a previous customer napkin. I guess I'm glad I don't have to wonder about returning (I don't live in Seattle), because the food certainly merits a return. The rest, though, makes me cringe a little. I hope the owners pay attention to these customer experience details as much as they do the food. If they do, they deserve tremendous success.

This store is chain store now. The original place is in evergreen area. Dumplings there are very good and authentic. The pot stickers are also amazing. We also ordered some lamb soup. The soup is also very nice. This is a good place to go for a quick bite. Maybe due to they just open, there is a little bit waiting there.

New restaurant. Good selection of dumplings but not much else besides them. The decor is a bit mismatching since they recently took over green leaf. No liquor license but a massive bar. They close relatively early too. That being said, the pot stickers are great and worth the price. I'd advise against the shrimp since they don't have much actual shrimp in the dumpling.
