Everbean Cafe

Healthy, friendly family run cafe. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is tasty, healthy and fresh, the price is a little steep for the quantity of food served. The coffee, chai and milkshakes were very nice. There is a large selection of very healthy foods, most of which can be vegetarian or vegan. Approx 10 tables inside and 4 outside with only half the cafe wheelchair accessible due to stairs halfway through the shop. We had to adult and two kids meals. The kids meals came out first, to my liking and they loved their milkshakes. Overall, a place to eat if you are looking for a healthier option.

After an enforced stopover in Bendigo, I decided to have breakfast at the Everbean Cafe. I had been here before when I was working as a Tipstaff at the County Court on Circuit. The coffee was just how I like it, not too hot and ready to drink. I ordered scramble eggs and bacon on sourdough bread. It was delicious. Staff warm an efficient. Papers provided for you to read with your coffee and brekky.

I enjoyed my coffee. And the staff were friendly. The cafe is a very casual environment and cosy. The price was reasonable and the menu is simple, but the simple things are done right and that’s what matters. I would recommend lashing out and treating yourself to sourdough if you get a toastie because you do have a choice. And for a little extra you get a better toasted sandwich. Only downside is it can get noisy in there because it echoes a bit. Otherwise it’s a place to go back to over and over again.
