Huntly Hotel

I’m a local of Huntly and my wife and I don’t go out much but I’d say this after being at the Huntly pub a few times now it’s gotten a lot better with it’s meals and the atmosphere is good. I do wish they would do Menulog or something similar for those who don’t like going out much, and the fan that operates the jumping castle needs to be in a sound proof room. Other than that one star for the above it’s a solid 4/5

Went in today with my partner after hearing they do smoked meats on the weekend and was not disappointed! We got one of each of the smoked menu starting with smoked chicken wings followed by pork ribs pulled pork and brisket and it was AMAZING. After the feed the manager even took us out back to see the gigantic smoker where the magic happens, it's huge! (Picture attached) the pub itself has a great vintage aesthetic with plenty of indoor and outdoor dining as well as a kids play area. I will be back again and with more people next time well done guys! 5 stars for delicious food 5 stars for the great venue and 5 stars for excellent service.

Outstanding!! Went there fort the first time since it change hands and honestly wasn't sure what to expect as it was a last minute decision to take my 5yr old there for his birthday as all he wanted was pizza. Well with a walk in booking and our own cake I was sure that there would be a hiccup surely. But no, staff went above and beyond to accommodate or little throw together of two mums and two highly excited toddlers. Set us up on a table in full view of the kids play area and all!! Meals were served in no time, hot and delicious. Kids play area had THREE jumping castles and plenty of other activities so needless to say the boys had an amazing time and slept very well after burning off all their energy.cant thank them enough for being a standout when it comes to hospitality venues in the area. Highly recommend

A really lovely place, well presented with a good menu. Kids playroom is a great plus too. Outdoor area is huge and looks like it would have a great night-time vibe. Would love to see that smoker getting used, but even more would love a little bit of a wider selection in beer available. On tap is your standard Carlton Draught/Dry, Bulmers, Great Nothing and Fat Yuck. Most I saw in the fridges were a couple of Cooper's Sparkling. Then again, they know their clientele better than I do, so maybe the punters are happy with bottom shelf beer. They seem to run a courtesy shuttle which is good too. Overall, well worth a visit.

Manager thinks its acceptable to charge top dollar for poor service and inconvenience to customer. Facility Power failure, intermitent air con, ceiling fans pushing hot air, registers down. Took four month to resolve. After two attempts to pay and leaving my personal details twice. Manager eventually offered to waive the price only to reneg. You guys obviously NEED the money more than I do. Put it towards your power upgrade. If I could rate this joint a zero I would. Worst experience ever.
